Technique Intensive with Aziza
Are you ready to get serious about your technique? Join Aziza and a small group of like minded dancers for an intense week of working your shimmy, isolation drills, captivating hands and arms, transitions, presence, posture, poise, and bodyline. For this special Dreamcamp we will focus on one short choreography to go beyond mesmerizing movement and delve into taking your technique to the next level. We will also address goal setting and optimizing your personal practice! All in the intimate beautiful setting of Le Covent on Lake Raymond. Come dance with me!

Meaning behind the Movement Dreamcamp
with Aziza and guest instructor Mercedes Nieto
Aziza is honored to welcome back the sweet and generous Mercedes Nieto to Dreamcamp. Mercedes is in demand worldwide for her unique approach to performing and teaching contemporary Oriental dance. We are beyond fortunate to again have the opportunity to dance with Mercedes in the beautiful intimate setting of Le Couvent for the week. Both Mercedes and Aziza will share their approach to constructing choreography and finding meaning behind the movement. As well as sharing their methods of training technique, fitness, expression, and all aspects of sharing dance through performance. Do not miss the opportunity to experience both Mercedes and Aziza in this intimate setting!

Aziza has invited the vibrant and exciting Valerick Molinary and the incomparable drummer and producer, Yassir Jamal. for a special week long intensive dance camp focused on all the details that make a well rounded artist. Aziza will offer a solid technique foundation, Yassir will share concepts in musicality and rhythm study, and Valerick will present the dynamics of performance. All three are gernerous instructors ready to take you to the next level!
Dreamcamp is held in a converted convent located in Val Morin on beautiful Lake Raymond. Included in the program is fitness, hiking, swimming, and relaxation as well as over 25 hours of dance instruction, Delicious food, food friends, and good times!

Aziza is beyond thrilled to welcome guest instructors Amy Sigil, Michelle Sorensen, and Nawal Doucette for a special INCLUSIVITY Dreamcamp.
Aziza has admired Amy Sigil's creativity and unapologetic authenticity for over a decade. Founder of Unmata and creator of I.T.S, Amy earned a reputation for pushing boundaries and inspiring her students and peers.
Michelle Sorensen's jaw dropping technique and creativity has propelled her to the forefront of the fusion world. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Michelle has a strong background in Tribal Fusion, Contemporary, Aerial Arts, Dancehall and Twerking! Aziza is excited to present this emerging artist for the first time in Canada.
Nawal Doucette is a professional dancer from New Brunswick who brings her background in yoga, strong finger cymbal skills, and intense technique training from her work with the Salimpour format. With her Egyptian heritage, dedication to training, and rebel soul, Nawal offers a unique and powerful addition to this Dare to Dreamcamp!
